Job summary

Blueprint Digital LLC in Sydney is seeking a reliable Machine Operator to join our production team. The role focuses on operating Summa laser cutting and Zünd digital cutting systems, with training provided across printing and heat press processes.

You will set up jobs, load materials, check quality, and work closely with the team to meet deadlines. Prior experience with laser cutting, digital cutting, or large-format printing is valued, and full training is provided to the right person.

• Preparing materials and jobs for production.
• Following job sheets, production instructions and deadlines.
• Identifying and reporting production or quality issues.
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work area.
• Working closely with the production team to ensure jobs are completed accurately and on time.
• Learn to print and press when needed.

Machine Operator - Large Format Printing & Laser Cutting

We are an established and growing large-format Soft Signage printing business looking for a reliable, motivated and hands-on Machine Operator to join our production team.

This is a full-time production role suited to someone who enjoys working with machinery, takes pride in producing quality work and can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

The primary focus of the role will be operating our Summa laser cutting system and Zünd digital cutting system, with training also provided across our printing and heat press production processes.

About the Role

Your responsibilities will include:

Operating and managing day-to-day production on our Summa laser cutting system

Setting up jobs, loading materials and cutting Jobs.

Checking cut products for quality, accuracy and correct quantities

operate Mimaki large-format printing equipment

operate heat press and fabric production processes

Preparing materials and jobs for production

Following job sheets, production instructions and deadlines

Identifying and reporting production or quality issues

Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work area

Working closely with the production team to ensure jobs are completed accurately and on time

Learn to print and press when needed

About You

Previous experience in machine operation, laser cutting, digital cutting, printing, signage, textiles or manufacturingwould be highly regarded; however, specific experience with our equipment is not essential.

Full training will be provided for the right person.
