Job summary

Randstad is seeking an experienced machine operator for Renmark, SA to operate heavy earthmoving plant across civil works, site prep and bulk excavation. You will perform pre-start checks and coordinate with ground crews to meet safety and site requirements.

The role requires a White Card, a current drivers licence (truck licences valued) and relevant RTO plant tickets for excavators, loader, dozer or telehandler. On-site work with varied tasks offers steady hours and safety-focused culture.

Machine Operator - Earthmoving : Renmark, SA $37.50 per hour

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and reliable machine operator to join our client based in Renmark. You will be responsible for operating heavy earthmoving machinery safely and efficiently across a variety of civil works, site preparation, and bulk excavation tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating mobile plant including excavators, loaders, rollers, and dozers to civil specifications
• Conducting pre-start checks and daily routine maintenance on assigned plant
• Working collaboratively with ground crews, spotters, and site supervisors
• Adhering strictly to workplace health and safety (WHS) procedures and site protocols

Requirements

• Valid White Card (General Construction Induction)
• Current drivers licence (truck licences highly regarded)
• Relevant RTO plant tickets (e.g. excavators, loader, dozer, telehandler)
