Supaloc is seeking a Machine Operator for its Chinderah Factory to safely run roll forming machines and produce steel framing components. The role reports to the Factory Manager and focuses on timeliness, quality, and teamwork in a high-volume environment.

You will read basic drawings, handle finished products, perform quality checks, and maintain a clean, organised workspace. Regular day or afternoon shifts and training are provided to support your development.

• Full-Time Permanent Roles (38 hours/week)
• Pay rate - $34.42 per hour after 3 months paid training
• 4 weeks paid leave
• Monday to Friday
• Day Shift - 6:00am to 2:06pm or Afternoon Shift - 12:00pm to 8:00pm
• Opportunities for OT on Saturdays (not mandatory)
• Ongoing training provided with a supportive culture

About the role

Reporting to the Factory Manager, the key focus of our Machine Operators is to safely operate roll forming machines to manufacture steel wall frames, roof trusses and joists according to production schedules and technical specifications. More specifically, you will:

• Operate roll forming machines safely and efficiently to produce high-quality steel framing components
• Read and understand basic drawings and framing plans
• Handling finished products stacking onto trolleys ready for the assembly team
• Conduct quality checks, ensuring components meet required standards and specifications
• Work collaboratively with a team, ensuring seamless coordination and timely completion of tasks
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment

• Excellent work ethic, honest, reliable and punctual
• Experience in the use of hand and power tools - training is provided
• Have a general understanding of manufacturing
