Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of roll forming machines in accordance with production requirements.
• Operate other metal fabrication machinery as required.
• Follow instructions, drawings, and documentation from drafting and senior staff.
• Use hand tools safely and efficiently.
• Monitor material and stock levels when reloading equipment.
• Ensure components meet required dimensions and quality specs.
• Work in both workshop and construction site environments as needed.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas and PPE usage.
• Adhere to Australian Standards and company procedures.

Position Overview

We are seeking a Machine Operator who is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of roll forming and metal fabrication machinery to produce high-quality steel components. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to follow drawings and instructions, and a strong commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork within a fast-paced fabrication environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of roll forming machines in accordance with production requirements
• Operate other metal fabrication machinery as required
• Follow instructions, drawings, and documentation provided by the drafting department and senior employees
• Operate hand tools and machinery safely and effectively
• Monitor material and stock levels when reloading roll formers and other fabrication machines
• Ensure components are produced to required dimensions, standards, and quality specifications
• Carry out work in both workshop and construction site environments as required
• Maintain clean, safe, and organised work areas, tools, and equipment
• Wear required safety clothing and correctly use personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Carry out all work in accordance with relevant Australian Standards and company procedures
