Job summary

KB Seafood Co is seeking experienced Machine Operators to join our busy team in Canning Vale, WA on a full-time basis. You will operate fish processing machinery, set up at shift start and perform pre-start checks, while maintaining quality and hygiene in a wet, cold seafood environment.

Applicants should have previous experience in fresh food processing, understanding HACCP, GMP and WHS protocols, and be able to communicate in English. Full, permanent work rights in Australia are required.

• Must be able to work in a wet, cold seafood environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate fish processing machinery such as packing/cutting machines.
• Set up machines at the beginning of each shift and conduct basic pre-start checks.
• Monitor machine performance to maintain product quality and output.
• Inspect finished products to ensure compliance with company specifications and hygiene standards.
• Report faults or breakdowns to maintenance or supervisors promptly.
• Adhere to all food safety, hygiene, and workplace health & safety requirements.
• Assist with manual handling tasks, such as loading raw materials or packing finished products.
• Maintain accurate production and quality records.
