Job summary

Tassal Group is hiring for multiple casual Processing Attendant roles at our Huonville salmon processing facility. You will join a fast-paced production line, operating equipment to slice, weigh, and package smoked salmon while training on the job.

Immediate start is available for reliable applicants with a can-do attitude. Applicants should be comfortable in a cold environment, have excellent communication, and hold full working rights in Australia.

Qualifications

• Shifts from Monday to Friday with early start times (4am/5am)
• Able to pass pre-employment medical and drug testing
• Reliable transport to work with a valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

• Assist with processing and production of smoked salmon.

Job description

The Role

MULTIPLE CASUAL POSITIONS AVAILABLE | IMMEDIATE START

Join us at our fast-paced salmon processing factory at Huonville as part of our casual crew. As a Processing Attendant, you will be assisting with the processing and production of our delicious smoked salmon. You will be working on a production line and operate machinery to slice, weigh, and package a range of different products.

Although previous experience working in a processing environment is preferred, we provide on-the-job training. We would love to hear from you if you are reliable, have a great attitude, and ready to embark on a new role with the largest producer of salmon in Australia!

Role Requirements

• Full availability to work shifts Monday to Friday each week, including early morning starts (4am or 5am).
• Immediate availability.
• Ability to work in a cold food-processing environment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Reliable transport to get to work (car and driver's licence required).
• Forklift ticket highly desirable.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical assessment and drug test.
• Full-time working rights in Australia.
