Job summary

AWX is currently seeking a Machine Assistant to join our client's manufacturing team in Darra, QLD. The role offers a clean, modern environment with opportunities for long-term career development.

You will work on a 36-hour week with 12-hour night shifts (Wednesday to Friday) at a rate of $40.50 per hour. No prior printing experience is required as training is provided on the job, and visa sponsorship is not available.

AWX is currently seeking a Machine Assistant to join our client's manufacturing team based in Darra.
Darra, QLD | $40.50 per hour | Wednesday to Friday

The Role

Working alongside experienced printers and machine operators, you will assist with the day-to-day production process. Duties will include:

• Assisting printers and machine operators
• Preparing and supplying materials for production
• General production and process work
• Working around production machinery
• Keeping work areas clean and organised
• Following workplace procedures and instructions
• Assisting the production team as required

Previous printing experience is not required, with training provided on the job.

Shift & Pay

• Wednesday to Friday
• 6:00pm - 6:00am
• 12-hour shifts
• 36 hours per week
• $40.50 per hour
• Four days off each week

About You

• Be comfortable working around production machinery
• Have a positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Be able to follow instructions and workplace procedures
• Work well as part of a team
• Have good attention to detail
• Have previous production, manufacturing, warehousing, process work or machine assisting experience - advantageous but not essential
• Have unrestricted working rights in Australia
