Job summary

AWX is seeking Production Labourers for a well-established Australian food manufacturing facility in Labrador. This hands-on role involves production line work, general labouring, packing, manual handling, and some forklift operation in a 25°C environment.

You will join a busy facility, follow food safety and workplace safety procedures, and contribute to quality checks. Essential: LF forklift licence, reliability, ability to work Monday to Friday with shifts, and transport.

• Current LF Forklift Licence essential.
• Ability to work in a 25°C environment.
• Pass pre-employment checks if required.
• Own transport preferred.

We are currently looking for Production Labourers to join a well-established Australian food manufacturing business based in Labrador.

This is a hands‑on labouring and production role, with some forklift work involved. We're looking for people who are reliable, physically fit and happy to get stuck into a fast‑paced production environment.

About the Role

You’ll be working across the production and processing areas of a busy food manufacturing facility, with the environment maintained at approximately 25°C.

Duties will include:

• General labouring and production line work
• Assisting with food production and processing
• Packing and preparing products
• Manual handling and repetitive lifting
• Moving raw materials and finished products
• Loading and unloading pallets
• Quality checking products
• Operating a forklift when required
• Following food safety, hygiene and workplace safety procedures
• General cleaning and housekeeping

What We’re Looking For

We’re after people who are reliable, hardworking and physically capable, with a genuine willingness to get stuck into the work.

You will need:

• Previous experience in labouring, production, manufacturing, warehousing or a similar environment
• Current LF Forklift Licence essential
• Ability to work in a 25°C environment for full shifts
• Physically capable of repetitive manual handling up to 50kgs (push/pulling)
• Strong work ethic and reliable attendance
• Good understanding of workplace safety
• Ability to follow procedures and work as part of a team
• Own reliable transport preferred

Essential Requirements

• Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
• Current LF Forklift Licence
• Availability for Monday to Friday work with flexibility across shifts
• Comfortable working in cold conditions
• Ability to pass a pre‑employment medical and drug & alcohol screening if required
