Job summary

InStitchu Macquarie Centre is seeking a Luxury Fashion Stylist on a casual basis. You will work one-on-one with clients to understand their style and guide them through creating their perfect custom garment.

No tailoring experience is required, as training is provided. You will build relationships, deliver personalised service, and strive to exceed sales targets in a fast-paced luxury retail environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail, hospitality, sales or customer service.
• Interest in fashion, styling, design and quality.
• Natural ability to build rapport with different types of customers.

Responsibilities

• Styling customers across our men's and women's collections.
• Conducting professional garment measurements to achieve the perfect fit.
• Guiding customers through hundreds of customisation options, premium fabrics and design details.
• Building strong relationships with customers and creating a personalised styling experience.
• Achieving and exceeding individual sales targets and KPIs.
• Following up with customers and leads to build long-term relationships and maximise sales opportunities.
• Maintaining an accurate customer database and managing follow-up activity.
• Providing exceptional service throughout the entire customer journey.
• Assisting with the day-to-day running and presentation of the showroom.
• Supporting showroom events, campaigns and other initiatives.
• Working collaboratively with the wider team to achieve showroom goals.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Stylist, you'll be the face of InStitchu — creating a personalised and memorable experience for every customer who walks through our doors.

You’ll work one‑on‑one with clients to understand their style, occasion and preferences, then guide them through the process of creating their perfect custom garment.

This is a people-focused, fashion-focused and commercially driven role where no two customers are the same.

Your day-to-day will include:

ABOUT YOU

We're looking for someone who is confident, energetic, personable and genuinely passionate about fashion and people.

You don't need to have a background in tailoring or luxury fashion. We're more interested in your personality, commercial mindset and willingness to learn.

You’ll ideally have:

• Previous experience in retail, hospitality, sales or customer service.

• A genuine interest in fashion, styling, design and quality.

• A natural ability to build rapport and connect with different types of customers.

• Excellent communication skills, both face‑to‑face, over the phone and via email.

• Confidence in a consultative sales environment.

• Strong organisation and time‑management skills.

• A positive, energetic and engaging personality.

• A strong sense of ownership, initiative and accountability.

• The motivation to achieve and exceed sales targets.

• A polished personal presentation and a genuine interest in style.

Previous experience in premium or luxury fashion is highly regarded, but not essential.
