Viktoria & Woods is seeking a casual stylist for our Rundle Street Boutique in Adelaide. You will engage with clients, style and sell, and maintain presentation and stock to deliver a premium brand experience.

Qualifications

Job Description

About the role

We are seeking passionate and customer-focused Casual Stylists to join our Rundle Street Boutique team. In this role, you will deliver memorable and tailored client experiences while supporting the day-to-day running of the store, from styling and selling to maintaining presentation and stock.

Responsibilities include:

• Connect with clients in an engaging way to provide an exceptional and memorable experience.
• Highlight product categories through strong product knowledge, using storytelling to cross-sell and upsell.
• Provide an excellent customer experience both on and off the floor: greeting, listening, assisting, advising, following up and exceeding expectations.
• Engage with a diverse client base, putting them at ease to build long-lasting relationships.
• Support the development of your client book, keeping client information up to date on relevant company tools.

Brand & Product Expertise

• Exemplify and share V&W's heritage and commitment to sustainable, modern design with every visitor.
• Build your knowledge of our core fabrications and seasonal collections to provide meaningful styling advice.
• Actively engage with training materials to stay up to date on new arrivals, styling and garment care.
• Embody the V&W purpose, pillars and values, acting as a genuine representation of the brand's minimalist luxury.

Store Presentation & Operations

• Actively participate in visual merchandising in line with Viktoria & Woods' visual standards.
• Maintain products in an efficient, clean, secure and organised manner, both front and back of house.
• Maintain a vigilant and organised floor to minimise stock loss and ensure a secure shopping environment.
• Provide feedback to store management on stock opportunities and/or losses.
• Sell products, accept payments, record sales and assist with the receiving and preparation of stock.
• Work collaboratively with the team to achieve daily budgets and maintain a positive, high-energy store culture.
• Keep management informed of client feedback, stock needs and any operational hurdles in a timely and professional manner.
• Attend store meetings, training sessions and company events as required.
• Embrace V&W's training initiatives and strive to implement new skills and knowledge on the job.

Desired Skills and Experience

Key Requirements:

• Understanding of retail POS systems (AP21 would be desirable).
• Fluent in English; an additional language is an advantage, particularly Mandarin.
• Passion for design, craftsmanship, and customer service, with a proven ability to build strong client relationships in a retail setting.
• Results-driven and a genuine team player, with a proven track record of achieving individual goals while contributing to team success.
• Positive, adaptable, and self-motivated, with strong attention to detail and an inclusive, open-minded approach.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage time and competing priorities effectively and efficiently.

Experience:

• Minimum 1-3 years customer service experience, preferably in an industry that delivers a personalised/elevated client service experience (luxury environment would be desirable).
• Cash handling or POS experience.
