Job summary

Sofitel Sydney Wentworth is seeking a Reservations Agent to be the first point of contact for guests, managing enquiries and reservations with efficiency, accuracy and genuine care.

You’ll maximise revenue by confidently recommending room upgrades, packages and dining experiences, while coordinating across Front Office, Revenue, Sales, F&B and other teams to ensure guest requests are delivered seamlessly.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel reservations or front office is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Ability to upsell room upgrades and hotel experiences.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage guest enquiries via phone, email and online channels with warmth and professionalism.
• Handle reservations from start to finish, including amendments and cancellations.
• Upsell upgrades, packages and dining experiences based on guest needs.
• Maintain accurate guest records in reservation systems and PMS.
• Coordinate with Front Office, Revenue, Sales, F&B and other teams to fulfil requests.
• Represent Sofitel brand with refined, personalised service.
