Job summary

Accor's Sofitel Sydney Wentworth is seeking a Reservations Manager to lead the reservations function and maximise revenue across groups, corporate and leisure bookings. This role drives conversion, upselling and a premium guest experience in a luxury setting.

Reporting to the Director of Revenue, you will coordinate with Revenue, Front Office and Sales, build a high-performing team, manage rosters and deliver a seamless guest journey from enquiry to arrival in a world-class environment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading Reservations in a luxury hotel.
• Strong revenue management and distribution knowledge.
• Experience with Opera V5/Opera Cloud.
• Commercial mindset with focus on upselling.
• Proven ability to coach and develop a team.
• Outstanding attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Reservations team to create a high-performing culture.
• Oversee all reservations (individual, group, VIP, corporate, leisure) with accuracy in rates and inclusions.
• Drive conversion and upselling to maximise room revenue and guest experience.
• Monitor queues, cancellations, no-shows and enquiries to avoid missed opportunities.
• Champion personalised guest interactions from enquiry to arrival.
• Partner with Revenue, Front Office, Guest Relations, Sales to optimise performance.
