The Ritz-Carlton Perth is seeking a Kitchen Support Expert for a part-time role in a luxury hotel setting. You will help maintain cleanliness of kitchen and storeroom areas, assist with food preparation and cooking to established standards, and ensure high standards of hygiene and safety.

• Unrestricted working rights in Australia.
• I’m Alert Food Safety Certification (City of Perth).

Responsibilities

• Wash and disinfect kitchen and storeroom areas, tables, tools, knives, and equipment.
• Use detergent, rinsing, and sanitizing chemicals to clean dishes.
• Clean and maintain sanitation areas and organize cleaning supplies.
• Clean the dishwashing machine.
• Inspect, pull, and stack cleaned items, send soiled items back for re-scrubbing and re-washing.
• Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food before use.
• Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards and food preparation checklist.
• Monitor food quality while preparing food.
• Serve food in proper portions onto dishes and plates, ensuring proper presentation.
• Wash and disinfect kitchen area, tables, tools, knives, and equipment.
