Job summary

The Star Sydney is seeking an experienced Housekeeping Services Supervisor to lead a large, diverse team in a luxury hotel setting. Reporting to the Assistant Housekeeping Manager, you will uphold the highest cleanliness and efficiency standards through effective supervision, training, and guest-focused service.

You will bring supervisory housekeeping expertise in a five-star property, drive operational efficiency, elevate guest experiences, and ensure presentation meets premier hotel standards.

Qualifications

• Previous Supervisory experience within a luxury hotel
• Strong leadership with an eye for detail
• Opera PMS experience desirable
• Passion for hospitality with a can-do attitude
• Strong communication and computer literacy
• Flexible availability to work across a 7-day roster

Responsibilities

• Ensure all relevant guest information is shared with all Team Members - VIPs, Cots, Rollaway beds
• Support and assist the team during peak periods
• Perform room spot checks and ensure all rooms are checked to hotel standards
• Resolve guest concerns using a pleasant and diplomatic approach
• Monitor and report maintenance requests where required
