Job summary

InterContinental Melbourne The Rialto is seeking a Reservations Team member to be the first contact in our guests’ journey, ensuring a seamless booking experience and memorable moments for every guest.

You will handle inquiries and bookings, liaise with departments, build relationships with clients, manage group blocks, participate in sales initiatives, and showcase exceptional phone and in-person customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Passion for warm, welcoming guest service and memorable experiences.
• Excellent communication skills on phone and in person.
• High attention to detail and luxury service standards.
• Experience with Opera or similar PMS is preferred.
• Ability to work 8:00am–6:00pm within Reservations Team hours.
• You must be eligible to work in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Assist with inquiries and bookings to ensure seamless guest journeys.
• Liaise with key hotel departments and maintain client relationships.
• Manage group blocks and participate in sales initiatives.
• Provide exceptional phone and in-person customer service.
