Job summary

Chanel is seeking an Alterationist for our Fashion Boutique in Market Street Sydney. You will address meticulous alteration needs for Ready-to-Wear collections and collaborate with Fashion Advisors to deliver tailored solutions.

Reporting to the Fashion Boutique Manager, you will ensure the boutique maintains its reputation for exceptional service and craftsmanship, while learning seasonal collections and alteration methods.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to sew and alter garments to required specifications with precision.
• Strong knowledge of fabrics, draping, fabrication and pressing.
• Excellent communication skills with clients to ensure clarity of outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Complete requested garment alterations within specified timelines and high quality standards.
• Check pinning, pressing, prepare items, follow alteration forms, assemble and finish, and check fittings on mannequins.
