Accor’s Sydney First Class Lounge seeks an experienced kitchen leader to oversee daily operations, deliver high-quality, brand-aligned dishes, and mentor the culinary team. This role focuses on premium dining within a luxury airline lounge, requiring calm leadership and a commitment to safety and sustainability.

The successful candidate will manage stock, contribute to menu development, and work closely with front-of-house colleagues to ensure an exceptional guest experience.

Qualifikationen

• Experience as Sous Chef or Chef de Partie in premium dining or high-volume service environments.
• Strong culinary skills with ability to produce high-quality dishes quickly and consistently.
• Excellent leadership and communication abilities.
• Commitment to safety, hygiene and operational excellence.

Aufgaben

• Support the Executive Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations within the lounge.
• Prepare and deliver high-quality dishes aligned with brand and airline standards.
• Supervise, mentor, and motivate kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.
• Maintain exceptional food presentation and quality throughout the menu.
• Drive compliance with HACCP, WHS and food safety requirements.
• Manage stock levels, ordering, waste control and cost efficiency.
• Assist with menu development tailored to lounge guest profiles and passenger volumes.
• Collaborate with front-of-house teams to ensure seamless guest service.
• Act as kitchen lead in the absence of the Executive Chef.
