Job summary

Sofitel Sydney Darling Harbour is seeking a Food & Beverage Attendant for Atelier by Sofitel to support buffet breakfast and dinner services. The role focuses on welcoming guests, delivering personalised service, maintaining presentation, and collaborating with culinary and F&B teams in a luxury hotel environment.

The ideal candidate will have hospitality experience, strong guest-service skills, and the ability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Food & Beverage or hospitality role.
• Genuine passion for guest service and exceptional hospitality.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with guests from diverse backgrounds.
• Understanding of restaurant service and buffet operations.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and deliver attentive, personalised service throughout their dining experience.
• Assist with setup, operation and breakdown of buffet breakfast and dinner services.
• Maintain buffet presentation, ensuring displays are clean, stocked and inviting.
• Monitor buffet levels and coordinate with the Culinary team for replenishment.
• Take and deliver beverage orders with accuracy and timeliness.
• Respond to guest enquiries regarding menu items and dietary requirements.
• Follow food safety, hygiene and responsible service procedures per hotel standards.
• Work rotating roster including early mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays.
