Job summary

Origin Energy’s LPG Operations & Field Services team is seeking a Terminal Manager based at the Bulwer Island terminal in Brisbane, overseeing two terminals. You will lead terminal operations, site maintenance and imports, while developing a diverse team of terminal operators in a safe, collaborative environment.

You’ll work with cross-functional teams to improve performance, manage costs and ensure regulatory compliance, with a strong focus on safety, customer service and leadership excellence.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Engineering, Management or Project Management, or relevant trade qualification plus industry experience.
• Around five years’ experience leading, coaching or developing teams in a complex operational environment.
• Experience in terminal or operational site management, preferably LPG, natural gas, petrochemicals, manufacturing or a comparable operational environment.
• Experience with contractor management, safety, risk and regulatory compliance, ideally including exposure to a Major Hazard Facility environment.
• Commercial awareness with budgeting, improving operational performance and contributing to business outcomes.
• Effective communication, people leadership and relationship-building skills, with ability to support teams through change and encourage continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day terminal operations, maintenance and imports.
• Coach and develop terminal operators; foster safety culture.
• Improve operational performance and manage costs while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with Logistics, Engineering, Scheduling and Service & Installation teams.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce costs and enhance supply chain performance.
