Job summary

marhaba at Western Sydney Airport is seeking a Lounge Services Attendant to deliver exceptional guest experiences. You will manage café-style service, assist culinary teams and help run daily lounge operations in a premium environment.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and check lounge eligibility via internal systems.
• Maintain clean, presentable guest areas and assist with food and beverage service.
• Prepare specialty coffees and a range of drinks.
• Support dining setup, buffet replenishment and catering needs.
• Assist with lounge opening/closing and daily ordering.
• Ensure WHS, HACCP and safety standards are followed.
• Adhere to Marhaba policies and improve guest experience.

We’re looking for a Lounge Services Attendant to join our team at a brand new, premium lounge Western Sydney Airport. This is a hands-on role where you’ll combine customer service, food and beverage service and lounge operations to ensure our guests receive an exceptional experience from the moment they arrive.

What You’ll Do:

• Welcome guests and check lounge eligibility using internal systems.
• Maintain clean, organised and presentable guest areas, including tables, floors, bars and buffet areas. You will serve and clear food and beverages, including supporting à la carte service.
• Prepare specialty coffees and a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
• Work closely with the culinary team to set up dining areas, replenish buffet items and support daily catering requirements.
• Support the opening and closing of the lounge.
• Assist with daily ordering and catering preparation when required.
• Follow WHS, HACCP and food safety standards at all times.
• Follow all relevant Marhaba policies, procedures and operational requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve the guest experience and service delivery.

What We Are Looking For:

• You’ll be a customer-focused team player who takes pride in delivering high standards and is willing to adapt to the needs of the lounge, sharing tasks and responsibilities as required. You’ll be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, have a genuine passion for hospitality and understand the importance of attention to detail.

You’ll Bring:

• Experience in hospitality, food and beverage, customer service or a similar environment.
• A high standard for personal hygiene and presentation, with a strong commitment to upholding exceptional customer service levels and delivering memorable customer experiences for all guests.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including a professional, friendly and approachable manner.
• The ability to work effectively as part of a diverse operational team.
• Strong attention to hygiene, presentation and detail.
• The flexibility to support a range of operational duties as required.
• Ability to work effectively across a rotating roster in a fast-paced operational environment.
