Compass Group Pty Limited is seeking a Lounge Experience Manager to lead a premium airport lounge operation in Brisbane. You will oversee hospitality, catering, cleaning, concierge and facilities services, ensuring exceptional guest experiences while driving commercial performance.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strategic and operational capabilities, and strong stakeholder engagement with clients and airline partners. Flexible hours apply in a seven-days-a-week lounge environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of lounge operations to ensure premium service standards and KPI targets.
• Own hospitality, catering, cleaning, concierge and facilities services for seamless guest experiences.
• Act as senior site leader across all service streams with a strong operational presence.
• Build trusted partnerships with clients, airline partners and Brisbane Airport Corporation.
• Drive financial performance through budgeting, forecasting and cost controls.
• Lead and develop a high-performing cross-disciplinary team across service disciplines.
• Oversee workforce planning, rostering and talent development to build long-term capability.
• Ensure excellence in food & beverage operations, lounge presentation and facilities management.
• Analyze performance, prepare business reviews and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Champion safety, compliance and operational excellence across all areas.

Compass Group Australia's Airline Lounge business delivers exceptional hospitality experiences within some of Australia's most prestigious airport environments. We are seeking an experienced, commercially astute and hands-on operational leader to take full ownership of a premium lounge operation at Brisbane Airport.

This is a unique opportunity to lead a complex, high-profile environment encompassing hospitality, catering, cleaning, concierge and facilities services. You will be responsible for driving operational excellence, commercial performance, client engagement and exceptional guest experiences while leading a large, multi-disciplinary team in a fast-paced airport setting.

THE POSITION

As Lounge Experience Manager, you will provide both strategic and operational leadership across a premium airport lounge, taking full accountability for service delivery, people leadership, financial performance and guest satisfaction. This role requires a visible, hands-on leader who is equally comfortable setting strategy, engaging with clients and rolling up their sleeves to support operations when required.

• Lead all aspects of lounge operations, ensuring premium service standards, contractual obligations and KPI targets are consistently achieved.
• Take full ownership of hospitality, catering, cleaning, concierge and facilities services to deliver a seamless end-to-end guest experience.
• Act as the senior site leader, maintaining a strong operational presence and leading from the front across all service streams.
• Build trusted partnerships with clients, airline partners, Brisbane Airport Corporation and key stakeholders.
• Drive financial performance through budgeting, forecasting, labour management, productivity initiatives and cost controls.
• Lead, coach and develop a high-performing team across multiple operational disciplines, fostering a culture of accountability, engagement and service excellence.
• Oversee workforce planning, rostering, succession planning and talent development to build long-term capability within the team.
• Ensure excellence across food and beverage operations, guest services, lounge presentation and facilities management.
• Analyse operational performance, prepare business reviews and implement continuous improvement initiatives that enhance both service delivery and commercial outcomes.
• Champion safety, compliance, innovation and operational excellence across all areas of the business.

THE PERSON

• Proven leadership experience managing complex hospitality, aviation, catering, facilities management or multi-service operations.
• Demonstrated success leading large operational teams while delivering exceptional customer experiences and commercial outcomes.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience managing budgets, forecasting, profitability, labour costs and operational efficiencies.
• Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to build trusted relationships with clients, partners and senior leaders.
• A visible and hands-on leadership style, with the ability to inspire teams and drive performance through presence on the floor.
• Proven ability to coach, mentor and develop leaders and frontline teams across multiple service disciplines.
• Strong communication, influencing and problem-solving skills with the ability to balance strategic priorities and operational delivery.
• Safety and compliance focused, with Hospitality qualifications, Food Safety certifications or RMLV highly regarded.

FLEXIBILITY

You will be required to take a flexible approach to your working hours. Our lounges operate seven days a week, and this role will provide leadership across varying operational schedules.
