Job summary

NTT Data is seeking an Analytics Engineer with strong GCP and Looker expertise to develop governed analytics in a modern cloud data ecosystem. You will focus on building the Looker semantic layer, trusted metrics, and AI-enabled analytics experiences for business users across the organization.

Based in Norwest, NSW, this 12-month contract offers a hybrid work model (3 days onsite). You will collaborate with data engineers and stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable LookML models,

Qualifications

• Experience with Looker and LookML to model metrics and explorations.
• Strong SQL skills and hands-on BigQuery experience.
• Understanding of semantic layers and governed metrics frameworks.
• Ability to engage with stakeholders and translate requirements into analytics solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain LookML models, views, dimensions, measures, joins, and Explores to support reporting and analytics.
• Contribute to a governed semantic layer with consistent business definitions and KPIs.
• Partner with stakeholders to translate reporting requirements into scalable analytics solutions.
• Support conversational analytics, including natural-language querying and AI-driven data experiences.
