Aurec is partnering with a leading global consumer technology brand to hire a Data Analyst for its Australian Data & Analytics team in Sydney.
You will transform complex data into actionable insights, work with BigQuery, GCP, Looker Studio, and build self-service analytics while collaborating with stakeholders across Australia and international teams.
This contract role starts at 3 months with potential extension to 12 months or beyond for the right candidate.

We're looking for a Data Analyst to join the Australian Data & Analytics team of a globally recognised consumer technology powerhouse.
This isn't a reporting-heavy role where you're just pulling numbers and building dashboards.
You’ll work across complex digital and eCommerce data, partnering with stakeholders locally and internationally to turn data into insights that genuinely influence decisions.
Turning complex data into clear, actionable insights.
Working with BigQuery and Google Cloud Platform.
Building dashboards and self-service analytics solutions.
Partnering with teams across digital, marketing, technology and the wider business.
Improving reporting, data quality and analytical capability.
Working with stakeholders across Australia and global teams.
3+ years' experience as a Data Analyst or BI Analyst.
SQL and BigQuery experience.
Experience working with GCP.
Looker Studio / Data Studio experience.
Digital, eCommerce or marketing analytics experience.
Exposure to tools such as Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics or similar digital platforms.
Someone who can bridge the gap between data and the business.
You’ll be joining a business recognised around the world for shaping how people connect, work, play and interact with technology.
The initial contract is 3 months, with the project expected to extend for a further 12 months and potentially ongoing.
