Job summary

Argo Natural Resources is seeking experienced Longwall Underground Coal Mine Operators to join our IronbarkNo.1 crew. You will report to the ERZ Controller and contribute to production targets while supporting safe, efficient operations.

The role involves planning daily tasks, executing schedules, and actively participating in a high-performing crew. Ideal candidates will have hands-on longwall experience, strong teamwork, and a proactive safety mindset.

Qualifications

• Experience operating longwall and related mining equipment.
• Strong safety record and commitment to procedures.
• Current Standard 11 competencies for underground operations.
• A valid Queensland Coal Board Medical is required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and execute daily tasks according to weekly schedules.
• Contribute to production targets while maintaining safety.
• Maintain site procedures and compliance with mine standards.
• Support development crews in a high-performing team.
