Job summary

Argo Natural Resources is seeking an experienced Underground Coal Operator for the Ironbark No.1 project in Moranbah. You will report to the ERZ Controller and work to safely achieve production targets while supporting operational efficiencies across functions.

Daily tasks include planning, scheduling, and executing work with a focus on safety and teamwork. Ideal candidates have extensive underground coal mining experience, Standard 11 certification, and relevant tickets.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in underground coal mining.
• Proven safety history and adherence to safety protocols.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Work safely to support production targets and related tasks.
• Plan and execute daily work from weekly schedules.
• Contribute to a safe, collaborative culture.
• Provide daily shift reports detailing equipment status and hours worked.
• Demonstrate experience as an Underground Mineworker in a coal mine.
• Familiar with Joy Miners and 12cm12/12cm30 equipment.
