Job summary
Glencore’s Ulan West mine is seeking a Lead to drive and develop automation across the longwall department, delivering world-class management and security of mission-critical mining systems. Reporting to Engineering Manager, you will support OT networks, SCADA and Komatsu automation systems in a high-production underground longwall operation.

Qualifications
- Tertiary qualification in electrical or mechanical or software engineering is advantageous.
- Experience with operational technology networks, SCADA and automation systems in mining.
Responsibilities
- Lead automation across the longwall department to support continuous improvement.
- Implement GCAA/Ulan West OT standards for OT networks.
- Troubleshoot longwall automation, OT networks and applications and rapidly restore functionality.
- Build capacity of site resources to design, develop and maintain automation systems.
