Job summary

Primero Group is seeking a Logistics Supervisor to oversee logistics for the Coastal Water Project on a 2:1 FIFO roster in Australia. The role focuses on coordinating personnel, materials, equipment, and supply chains to support construction, commissioning, and maintenance activities.

You will supervise site services, manage transport, keep equipment records, lead a team of asset coordinators and mechanics, and ensure safety and compliance across the project.

Qualifications

• Section 26 (S26) qualification is mandatory.
• Exposure to EPC environments is preferred.
• Unwavering commitment to safety and a team-first approach.
• Demonstrated leadership in a remote or industrial project environment.
• Strong understanding of logistics coordination, inventory management, and compliance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and enterprise systems such as JDE or SMCS.
• OSH Construction Industry White Card is mandatory.
• Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical, Drug & Alcohol Screen.
• Excellent planning, organisation, and prioritisation abilities.
• High level of attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
• Ability to work under pressure and coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily site services operations.
• Oversee bus scheduling, accommodation liaison, and workforce logistics.
• Maintain oversight of all project light vehicles, plant, and equipment (P&E).
• Manage equipment hire, inspections, and transport coordination.
• Maintain detailed service, inspection, and calibration records.
• Lead and develop a team of asset coordinators, mechanics, and service personnel.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and participate in incident reviews and toolbox meetings.
• Maintain trackers for service requests, equipment utilisation, maintenance, and compliance.
• Prepare weekly and monthly reports on asset performance and outstanding actions.
