Job summary

DSV Global Transport and Logistics is seeking a Supervisor, Operations at Melbourne Airport to lead and support a team to ensure safe, efficient, and customer-focused warehouse operations. You will oversee daily activities, manage performance, and drive continuous improvement across the site.

Key responsibilities include coaching the team, driving safe operations, monitoring KPIs, rostering, maintaining customer service standards, and ensuring safety and procedures compliance.

Qualifications

• Previous leadership experience within logistics, warehousing or supply chain operations.
• Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• A customer-first mindset.
• Knowledge of workplace health and safety requirements.
• Sound computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• A current Forklift Licence.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop operational team members and team leaders.
• Drive safe and efficient warehouse operations.
• Monitor performance against KPIs and operational targets.
• Manage rostering and workforce allocation.
• Maintain strong customer relationships and service standards.
• Ensure compliance with safety, operational and company procedures.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist with operational planning, reporting and customer growth opportunities.
