Job summary

L’Occitane en Provence Australia & New Zealand is seeking a commercially driven Head of Supply Chain to lead warehousing, e-commerce fulfilment, assembly and kitting, plus freight across AU/NZ.

You will manage a high-performing team at the Silverwater Distribution Centre, drive operational excellence, and champion continuous improvement aligned with our B Corp values.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in a warehouse/operations leadership role.
• Experience in budget management and cost control.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day logistics operations including warehousing and e-commerce fulfilment.
• Lead, mentor and develop the Distribution Centre team, including casual staff.
• Foster a positive, high-performing culture aligned with brand values.
• Manage warehouse budgets, including labour, freight, packing and fixed costs.
• Ensure accurate FEFO inventory management and integrity.
• Oversee inbound/outbound freight and domestic distribution in AU/NZ.
• Maintain supplier relationships for equipment, racking and packaging.
• Serve as primary contact for warehouse security in collaboration with IT/vendor teams.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting to the Head of Supply Chain, this role plays a pivotal role in shaping the efficiency and performance of our end-to-end supply chain. Based at our Silverwater Distribution Centre, you will lead warehousing, e-commerce fulfilment, assembly and kitting, and domestic and international freight, driving operational excellence and continuous improvement.

This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially driven, hands on leader to inspire and develop a high-performing team while making a meaningful impact on our business.

Key responsibilities include:

• Oversee all day-to-day logistics operations, including warehousing, e-commerce order fulfilment, in-house assembly, and kitting.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the Distribution Centre team, including casual and seasonal employees.
• Foster a positive, high-performing culture aligned with L’Occitane en Provence's values and expectations.
• Manage warehouse operating budgets, including labor, freight, packing supplies, and fixed costs.
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of inventory, maintaining strict adherence to a First-Expired-First-Out (FEFO) model.
• Manage all freight operations, including inbound and outbound containers and domestic distribution in Australia and New Zealand.
• Oversee relationships with key suppliers (e.g. materials handling equipment, racking, packing supplies).
• Act as the primary contact for warehouse security, ensuring systems are functional and inventory is secure in collaboration with IT and security vendors.

ABOUT YOU

• Strong written and verbal communication
• Ability to work under pressure
• Minimum of 5 years’ management level position in warehouse, operations, supply chain, inventory management, logistics or similar discipline
• Minimum of 5 years’ team management experience
• Advanced knowledge of logistics and warehouse operations
• Advanced knowledge of warehouse management applications e.g. Navision, SAP
