Job summary

UPS Supply Chain Solutions, Inc. in Sydney seeks a logistics operations assistant to support day-to-day activities in the operations department. You will liaise between internal departments and external vendors, monitor bookings and movements, and serve as the main contact for drivers.

You will assist with export/import tasks, driver scheduling, and dispatch functions while ensuring accurate paperwork and compliance with company standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in life science and clinical trial industry.
• Experience with import and export.
• Understanding of Sydney & surrounding areas.
• Understanding of running a fleet.
• Knowledge of time and temperature requirements for clinical trials.

Responsibilities

• Export operations: create SLI, prepare labels and export packs.
• Imports: oversee daily imports deliveries.
• Driver scheduling: route planning for drivers.
• Dispatch: scan freight and account for it, cover staff on leave.
• Track and trace on shipments as required.
• Co-operate with all departments and vendors.
• Ensure daily counts are accurate and paperwork meets standards.
