Job summary

UPS is seeking a full-time Dispatch Coordinator in Sydney to join our team. The role involves processing outbound orders, preparing freight for transport, and creating daily driver schedules.

Responsibilities include dispatching freight, pallet handling, consignment note creation, terminal lodgement, and occasional loading/unloading. You will collaborate on route adjustments and monitor driver logs to ensure on-time delivery and safety.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of warehousing experience.
• Customer service experience in a fast-paced environment.
• A current forklift license or willingness to obtain one.
• Certificate I–II in Warehousing & Distribution highly regarded.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and prioritise multiple tasks.
• Strong planning and organisational skills.
• Experience using dispatch software is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Scan and dispatch freight.
• Stack and wrap pallets and perform warehouse duties as needed.
• Create air and road consignment notes (computer and manual systems).
• Lodge and collect freight at air and sea terminals.
• Load and unload delivery vehicles and complete deliveries when required.
• Collaborate with management to modify daily routes to customer needs.
• Prepare daily work schedules and notify drivers of road hazards.
• Monitor driver logs for errors and compliance.
• Process export and import shipments.
