Job summary

SEEK is seeking a Logistics Customer Service Clerk to join our team in Brooklyn, VIC. This full-time role focuses on delivering exceptional service to customers, coordinating shipments, and maintaining accurate records to ensure smooth warehouse operations.

Hours are 9am to 5pm, with responsibilities including handling enquiries, processing shipments, and maintaining detailed shipment records to support efficient distribution.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service skills with clear professional communication.
• Experience in logistics, warehousing or distribution, or fast-paced customer service.
• Proficiency with computer systems and warehouse management software; knowledge of logistics tracking systems is advantageous.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Problem-solving mindset and calm handling of customer concerns.
• Reliability and punctuality; flexibility for peak trading periods.

Responsibilities

• Handle customer enquiries and provide accurate shipment information.
• Process inbound and outbound shipments and ensure documentation is complete.
• Maintain detailed records of orders, inventory, and logistics transactions.
• Liaise with warehouse staff, drivers and customers to resolve delays or discrepancies.
• Prepare and distribute shipping documentation, manifests, and delivery confirmations.
• Monitor delivery schedules and notify customers of estimated arrival times.
• Address customer complaints professionally and escalate complex issues when needed.
• Data entry of customer and shipment details in company systems.
• Support the logistics team with administrative tasks and ad-hoc duties.
