Job summary

Professional Recruitment Australia in Melbourne is seeking an experienced Operations & Logistics Coordinator with Outside Broadcast experience to support major sporting productions, live events and broadcast projects across APAC.

You will coordinate broadcast equipment, inventory, cross-hire and freight, working with technical managers to keep productions on time and on budget, while improving processes within a growing business. A current driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated Outside Broadcast (OB) experience in broadcast, sports production or live events.
• Experience in operations, logistics or equipment management.
• Working knowledge of broadcast equipment (cameras, vision, audio, replay, communications).
• Experience with asset management or rental platforms such as Current RMS, Flex or similar.
• Strong organisational, planning and supplier management skills.
• A current driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate broadcast equipment, inventory, cross-hire, freight and technical logistics for OB productions and live events.
• Prepare, test, pack and dispatch production equipment.
• Manage asset registers, equipment maintenance, repairs and servicing.
• Source cross-hire equipment and manage suppliers and freight.

We’re looking for an experienced Operations & Logistics Coordinator with proven Outside Broadcast (OB) experience to support major sporting productions, live events and broadcast projects across APAC.

This is an exciting opportunity to combine your technical knowledge, logistical expertise and organisational skills to ensure equipment and resources are ready to deliver seamless productions.

The Role

You’ll coordinate broadcast equipment, inventory, cross-hire, freight and technical logistics, working closely with technical managers and production teams to keep projects running smoothly, on time and on budget.

Key responsibilities include:

• Coordinating equipment requirements for OB productions, fly-away kits and live events.
• Preparing, testing, packing and dispatching production equipment.
• Managing asset registers, equipment maintenance, repairs and servicing.
• Sourcing cross-hire equipment and managing suppliers and freight.
• Forecasting equipment requirements and monitoring utilisation.
• Improving operational processes, systems and reporting.

About You

You’re proactive, organised and comfortable working in fast-paced production environments. You understand the importance of planning ahead, solving problems and ensuring everything is ready when the production goes live.

You’ll bring:
