Job summary

Adairs in Melbourne is seeking a permanent part-time team member to help manage stock levels and support visual merchandising across the store. You will keep the stock room organised and ensure stock is easy to locate.

You will coordinate with couriers, move stock to the shop floor, conduct stock takes, and report any issues to the planning team, all while keeping the customer experience front and centre.

• Previous stock control exposure within a high-volume retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and well organised stock room with all products, making stock easy to find.
• Coordinate with couriers to ensure stock receiving is accurate and seamless.
• Move stock from the stock room to the shop floor to assist visual merchandising.
• Conduct stock takes and manage inventory.
• Build strong relationships with the planning team to report issues.
• Ensure the customer experience remains front of mind.

About The Opportunity:

This is a permanent part time opportunity is all about making sure we have the right stock levels at all times and ensuring the store team members can execute the visual merchandising side. Supporting the wider team within our store, you will add significant value through;

• Maintaining and safe and well organised stock room with all of our gorgeous products, making product easy to find
• Working with couriers to make sure the receiving of stock is accurate and seamless
• Bringing stock into the shop from the stock room to help the wider team with their ability to visual merchandise
• Conducted stock takes, and inventory management
• Build strong relationships with our planning team to report on any issues
• Ensuring the customers experience is always front of mind
