Zusammenfassung

Aurizon are seeking Qualified Locomotive Drivers based at the Toowoomba depot. You will operate locomotives including mainline, shunting and yard operations, and certify trains as ready for departure, while applying best practice to ensure safe and efficient operations.

We value teamwork, safety awareness and customer service, with a 24/7 shift roster. Experience with the QLD Safeworking System is a plus, and a Certificate IV in Rail Operations is preferred.

• Availability to work a 24/7 shift roster.
• Experience with the QLD Safeworking System is highly regarded.
• Extensive locomotive driving experience in heavy haulage operations.
• Certificate IV in Rail Operations.

Aurizon are currently seeking Qualified Locomotive Driverswho will be based at our Toowoomba depot. These roles will be suited to an individual who is able to display superior teamwork skills, flexibility, a high level of safety awareness and customer service.

• Operation of locomotives including mainline, shunting and yard operations.
• Examine and certify trains as ready for departure
• Apply 'best practice' train management techniques to ensure efficient and safe train operations.
• Work in accordance with Aurizon's safety and operational standards and procedures
• Contribute to continuous performance improvement
• Work in accordance with Aurizon's award and other industrial agreements relevant to the position of Locomotive Driver
