City of Moreton Bay is seeking a Local Laws Ranger to help educate the community, resolve compliance issues and apply legislation fairly across Caboolture and the City. You’ll join a team of professionals dedicated to protecting safety, amenity and the environment while balancing education and enforcement duties.

Applicants should interpret legislation confidently, conduct investigations and maintain high professional standards.

Formación

• Experience in applying legislation and conducting investigations.
• Ability to educate residents and resolve compliance matters.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsabilidades

• educate and engage with the community on State legislation and Council local laws
• investigate complaints and undertake regulatory compliance activities
• exercise enforcement powers where required, including issuing infringement notices and impounding animals, vehicles and abandoned goods
• patrol streets, parks and public spaces to proactively identify and respond to community concerns
• accurately record customer interactions, interviews, investigations and compliance actions
• provide practical advice, guidance and customer-focused solutions to the community
