Queensland Country Bank in Ayr seeks a Local Home Loan Specialist to provide personalised lending support for Members across personal, credit card and mortgage applications. You will build strong relationships, work with a close-knit team, and contribute to a mortgage retention program while supporting business development in the region.

The role emphasizes customer service, accurate lending processing, and guidance to staff, within a full-time 38-hour week across Monday to Friday.

Job description

Are you passionate about helping people achieve their financial goals? We're looking for an experienced and motivated Local Home Loan Specialist to join our friendly and supportive team at the Ayr branch, where collaboration, trust and a great team culture are at the heart of what we do.

In this role, you'll provide exceptional, personalised lending support to both new and existing Members. You'll handle a variety of lending needs, from personal and credit card loans to more complex mortgage applications, while building strong relationships and becoming a trusted point of contact. You'll be supported by a close-knit team that values shared success, work-life balance and professional growth.

You'll also support the Area Manager with business development initiatives, help manage loan processing and distribution and play a key role in coaching and mentoring staff. A vital part of the role involves leading our mortgage retention program to ensure our Ayr Members feel supported and valued throughout their lending journey. This is a full time position based on a 38-hour working week, Monday to Friday. The successful applicant may be required to work at branches within the region, as required.
