Job summary

ALH Hotels is seeking a Local Area Marketing Specialist to manage day-to-day content and local partnerships across owned channels in Melbourne. You will ensure accurate venue details, engage with local communities, and coordinate local sponsorships to boost guest engagement.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years of digital marketing experience, with hands-on use of Meta Business Suite, Google Business Profile, and CMS platforms.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years' experience in digital channel management, social media or local marketing.
• Hands-on with Meta Business Suite, Google Business Profile and CMS platforms.
• Strong data-driven mindset and attention to detail in content accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day content across venue social media channels, website venue pages, Google Business Profiles, and local directory listings.
• Ensure all venue trading hours, menus, contact details, event schedules, and offer mechanics are 100% accurate and updated across all owned platforms.
• Monitor local venue social channels, responding promptly to guest enquiries and engaging with community audiences in a timely, brand-aligned tone of voice.
• Create and adapt localised digital content using approved templates, brand assets, and local photography or key trade moments
• Ingest campaign toolkits, approved key art, and offer mechanics from the Campaign Delivery team, scheduling accurate digital deployment across owned channels.
• Execute local community initiatives, sports club sponsorships, and business partnerships in line with established frameworks, coordinating promotion, signage, and local event support.
