• Prepare, key and lodge applications and manage through to approval; follow up lenders and clear conditions.
• Request pricing and valuations and assist with back-book pricing reviews.
• Manage approved loans through to settlement: documents, figures and pre-settlement checks.
• Coordinate construction progress payments and loan maintenance with clients and lenders.
• Provide weekly updates and act as the main client contact.
• Keep Trello workflow, deadlines and admin inbox under control.
• Close out files, post-settlement checks and audit-ready records.
• Handle enquiries and loan maintenance including rates, splits, redraws and direct debits.

Loan Processor & Client Services Administrator

Loan Processor & Client Services Administrator to keep files moving from first enquiry to settlement and beyond. The role is full-time, but genuinely flexible for an experienced processor: part-time (three or four days) or school-hours arrangements (for example, five days, around 9:15-2:45) can work for the right person.

Key responsibilities

Set up new clients and deals in BrokerEngine, AFG FLEX and document systems, and follow up the information needed

Prepare, key and lodge applications, and manage them through to approval - following up lenders, answering credit questions and clearing conditions

Request pricing and valuations, and help run back-book pricing reviews for existing clients

Manage approved loans through to settlement: loan documents, settlement figures, discharges, insurance and pre-settlement checks

Coordinate construction progress payments

Be a clear, friendly point of contact for clients - weekly updates, loan maintenance requests

Keep Trello workflow, deadlines, pre-approval expiries and admin inbox under control

Close out files, run post-settlement check-ins and keep everything compliant and audit-ready

Handle enquiries and loan maintenance (fixed rates, splits, offsets, redraws, direct debits); coordinate between clients, lenders and conveyancers

Run the annual review process; request back-book pricing; update client information; flag further lending opportunities to the brokers

About you

2+ years in mortgage broking support, loan processing or bank lending

Seriously organised with strong attention to detail across many concurrent files

Clear, confident communicator by phone and email, with clients and with banks

Understanding of lending deadlines - finance clauses, settlement dates, pre-approval expiries, auction/buy ready - and you work with urgency when required

Comfortable picking up the phone to chase a BDM or an assessor

Working knowledge of the residential loan process from application to settlement

Experience with AFG FLEX, BrokerEngine, ApplyOnline, Quickli or Trello is a big plus - we'll train the rest
