Job summary

Axle Capital in Melbourne is seeking a proactive SDR / Loan Processing Officer to support brokers and move deals from inquiry to formal approval. You will handle high volumes of inbound leads, prepare files, and present applications to lenders.

A base salary with super and commission is offered, along with full training in business lending and a clear path to broker roles. The role is based in Collingwood with a fast-moving, supportive team, and requires availability Monday to Friday in the

• Experience in sales support or SDR roles is required.
• Experience in loan processing or fast-paced admin is beneficial.
• Comfortable reading financial information and communicating by phone/email.

Responsibilities

• Manage and move the loan pipeline with the sales team.
• Lodge and process new loan applications.
• Lodge and process formal and approved applications to settlement.
• Find the right lenders on our panel for each client.
• Read client credit profiles and assess impact on loan applications.
• Build tailored loan applications to help secure approvals.
• Follow up with clients, lenders and brokers to avoid missed steps.
• Work with the team to hit monthly targets.

Our marketing team brings in a steady flow of business owners who have already asked for funding, so our team spends its time helping clients, not cold calling.

We’re growing, and we need an SDR / Loan Processing Officer to work alongside our brokers and keep deals moving from first enquiry to formal approval.

We’re growing, and we need an SDR / Loan Processing Officer to work alongside our brokers and keep deals moving from first enquiry to formal approval.

The role

You’ll be at the centre of our sales team. You’ll handle a high volume of incoming leads, make sure every file is well prepared, and get applications in front of the right lenders. You’ll work closely with the brokers and share targets with them, so when the team wins, you win.

What you’ll do:

• Work with the sales team to manage and move the loan pipeline

• Lodge and process new loan applications

• Lodge and process formal and approved applications through to settlement

• Find the right lenders on our panel for each client

• Read client credit profiles and understand how they affect a loan application

• Build tailored loan applications that give lenders what they need to say yes

• Follow up with clients, lenders and brokers so nothing falls through the cracks

• Work with the team to hit shared monthly targets

About you

• Experience in sales support, an SDR role, loan processing, or another fast-paced admin or sales role

• Organised and detail-focused, and able to run many files at once without dropping any

• Comfortable reading financial information and keen to learn how credit works

• A clear, confident communicator by phone and email

• Motivated by targets and enjoys working as part of a team

• Available full time, Monday to Friday, in our Collingwood office

Nice to have: experience in lending, broking, banking or credit; knowledge of business or commercial lender policy; experience with a CRM or loan origination platform.
