Redpath Mining is expanding at the BERT Project in Cloncurry, and we're building a high-performing team of experienced Underground Loader Operators.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in an underground mining environment.
• Current Loader Ticket.
• Experience operating Sandvik loaders (highly regarded).
• Current Manual Driver's Licence.
• Current First Aid & CPR.
• Current Working at Heights certification.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to follow instructions and work effectively within a team.
• A proactive approach to safety and a commitment to Redpath's "Safety – First, Last and Always" philosophy.

Responsibilities

• Operating underground loader equipment safely and efficiently in line with site standards and procedures.
• Completing production activities as directed by Supervisors to achieve daily mining targets.
• Applying effective loading techniques to maximise productivity while maintaining safe work practices.
• Maintaining high housekeeping standards, including floor conditions, windrow removal, stockpile management and stope brow sprinkler setup.
• Following all Redpath, client and site safety procedures and standards.

Responsibilities

About the Role

As an Underground Loader Operator, you'll play a vital role in keeping production moving safely and efficiently by:

Operating underground loader equipment safely and efficiently in line with site standards and procedures.

Completing production activities as directed by Supervisors to achieve daily mining targets.

Applying effective loading techniques to maximise productivity while maintaining safe work practices.

Maintaining high housekeeping standards, including floor conditions, windrow removal, stockpile management and stope brow sprinkler setup.

Following all Redpath, client and site safety procedures and standards.
