Job summary

Redpath is seeking an Underground Loader Operator in Queensland to join a long-term, permanent team. You will operate underground loader equipment safely and efficiently, following site standards and directing daily production targets with Supervisors.

This role offers an even-time 14/14 FIFO roster from Brisbane, Townsville or Cairns, competitive pay and strong safety culture. Candidates must have a Loader Ticket, manual driver's licence, First Aid/CPR, Working at Heights, and good

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience in underground mining.
• Current Loader Ticket.
• Current Manual Driver's Licence.
• Current First Aid & CPR.
• Current Working at Heights certification.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate underground loader equipment safely and efficiently.
• Complete production activities to meet daily targets.
• Apply loading techniques to maximise productivity while maintaining safety.
• Maintain housekeeping standards (floor conditions, windrow removal, stockpile management, stope brow sprinkler setup).
• Follow safety procedures and site standards.

As an Underground Loader Operator, you'll play a vital role in keeping production moving safely and efficiently by:

Operating underground loader equipment safely and efficiently in line with site standards and procedures.Completing production activities as directed by Supervisors to achieve daily mining targets.Applying effective loading techniques to maximise productivity while maintaining safe work practices.Maintaining high housekeeping standards, including floor conditions, windrow removal, stockpile management and stope brow sprinkler setup.Following all Redpath, client and site safety procedures and standards.
