Job summary

Redpath Mining's BERT Project in Cloncurry, QLD is seeking an Underground Loader Operator for a long-term, full-time role. The position offers an even-time 14/14 FIFO roster and work on a premier Queensland underground project.

You will operate Sandvik loaders (experience preferred), maintain safe work practices, complete daily production targets, and uphold high housekeeping standards while integrating into a team that values safety as a core principle.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience in an underground mining environment.
• Current Loader Ticket.
• Experience operating Sandvik loaders (highly regarded).
• Current Manual Driver's Licence.
• Current First Aid & CPR.
• Current Working at Heights certification.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to follow instructions and work effectively within a team.

Responsibilities

• Operating underground loader equipment safely and efficiently in line with site standards and procedures.
• Completing production activities as directed by Supervisors to achieve daily mining targets.
• Applying effective loading techniques to maximise productivity while maintaining safe work practices.
• Maintaining high housekeeping standards, including floor conditions, windrow removal, stockpile management and stope brow sprinkler setup.
• Following all Redpath, client and site safety procedures and standards.
