Job summary

Rollco is seeking a reliable Loader / General Hand to join our team in Sydney. The role focuses on loading and unloading steel from trucks, assisting with yard movement, and supporting machine operators in daily site tasks.

We value hands-on workers with warehouse or manufacturing experience, basic crane/forklift familiarity, and a safety-first approach. Training and ongoing development are provided in a stable, long-standing company.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, yard, manufacturing or similar experience preferred.
• Steel handling experience advantageous.
• Overhead crane experience.
• Forklift licence preferred but not essential.
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling.
• Reliable, safety-focused and hardworking.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload steel from trucks safely and efficiently.
• Assist with moving and handling steel products around the yard.
• Support machine operators when required.
• Assist with general site duties and keep the work area clean and organised.
• Work closely with the production and dispatch teams to meet daily requirements.
• Follow all workplace health and safety procedures.

Rollco is a proud member of the largest privately owned steel distribution group in Australia. We are a specialised steel processing company focusing on cold roll bending and pressing of sectional and plate steel.

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Loader / General Hand to join our dedicated team. In this hands-on role, you will assist with loading and unloading steel products from trucks, support machine operators and assist with general day-to-day operations across the site.

What we’re looking for

Previous warehouse, yard, manufacturing or similar experience preferred

Steel handling experience advantageous

Overhead crane experience

Forklift licence preferred but not essential

Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling

Reliable, safety-focused and hardworking

Positive attitude and willingness to learn

What you’ll be doing
