Job summary

JBS Australia is seeking an experienced Livestock Supervisor to join our Dinmore operations, near Ipswich, Queensland. This hands-on leadership role oversees daily livestock yard operations and leads a dedicated team of stockpersons to ensure safe, compliant movements of livestock and high welfare standards.

Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will coordinate cattle receivals, yard movements, drafting, penning and dispatch, providing coaching and guidance to your team in a culture of safety and

Qualifications

• Demonstrated livestock handling and stockyard operations experience.
• Ability to supply and maintain two horses and associated equipment.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience.
• Commitment to animal welfare and low-stress stock handling practices.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.
• Experience with livestock traceability systems and record management.
• Willingness to learn and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
