Job summary

UnitingCare Wesley Bowden seeks Peer Mentor with lived experience to support people in mental health recovery across the Adelaide area. You will engage one‑to‑one and in groups, offering compassionate connection, assisting clients to set goals and access NDIS services as part of a rights‑based recovery approach.

The role is outreach with a flexible 3–5 day roster across seven days, enabling engagement with diverse community members and supports as part of our 100% lived experience program.

Qualifications

• NDIS worker screening clearance required prior to commencement.

Responsibilities

• Provide authentic peer connection and supportive engagement in the community.
• Help people activate choice and connect with NDIS services.
• Work within a lived experience, human rights and compassion‑centred framework.
