Job summary

Manning Entertainment Centre in MidCoast NSW is seeking a Casual Theatre Loader to join the Production Team. You will assist with setup and pack down of lighting, sound, and staging for live performances and events, working with technicians and visiting crews.

The role requires physical fitness, reliability, and the ability to follow safety procedures. Casual hours may include nights and weekends, with an hourly rate plus 25% loading.

Qualifications

• Reliable, punctual and able to take direction with a proactive attitude.
• Comfortable lifting and moving equipment; teamwork oriented.
• Experience in live theatre, events or production support preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation, setup and pack down of lighting, sound, staging, and other production equipment.
• Safely load and unload trucks and transport technical equipment.
• Support production crews with staging, set movements, and backstage duties.
• Follow safety procedures and report issues promptly.
• Maintain a safe and professional working environment.
• Be available to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
