Job summary

Manning Entertainment Centre in MidCoast NSW is seeking a Casual Theatre Technician to support touring professionals, local producers and performances. You will be proficient in lighting, sound, stage management and fly tower operations, enabling high-quality live events for the MidCoast community.

The role requires flexibility for long days and weekend/night work, a strong customer service focus and the ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Experience operating lighting and audio equipment for live performances.
• Must obtain a Working with Children Check and NSW Construction Induction Card (White Card).
• Demonstrated commitment to Workplace Health and Safety.
• Flexibility to work long days and weekends/nights.

Responsibilities

• Assist touring professionals and local producers to present performances.
• Operate lighting, sound, stage management and fly tower operations.
• Work autonomously as well as part of a team.
• Ensure safety and compliance during productions.
