Job summary

Discovery Parks Halls Gap is seeking an experienced Park Manager to lead all aspects of a busy year-round operation in Victoria. This live-in role includes managing guest experiences, financial performance, and a high-performing team while maintaining asset presentation to the highest standards.

You will drive continuous improvement, ensure regulatory compliance, and collaborate with local stakeholders and the G'day Group to deliver exceptional customer journeys in one of Australia’s premier

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hospitality, accommodation, tourism or caravan park management.
• Strong leadership experience in a multi-faceted operational environment.
• Current driver's licence.
• Experience using RMS, Newbook or similar property management systems.
• Well-developed financial and commercial management skills.
• Proven ability to coach, motivate and develop teams.
• Strong operational and asset management capability.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with guests, staff and external partners.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Flexibility to work weekends, public holidays and after-hours when required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day operation of the park, including after-hours call outs when required
• Drive financial performance through effective budgeting, forecasting, reporting and cost control
• Recruit, develop and mentor a high-performing team
• Maintain exceptional presentation standards across all accommodation, grounds and facilities
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety and regulatory requirements
• Manage guest feedback, reviews and service recovery to consistently deliver outstanding experiences
• Build and maintain relationships with local tourism operators, businesses and community stakeholders
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiencies and grow business performance
• Collaborate with the wider G'day Group network to share best practice and support business initiatives
• Provide hands-on operational support where required to ensure the park runs smoothly
