Job summary

Discovery Parks Clare in South Australia is seeking an experienced hospitality or tourism leader to take ownership of a well-established park. You will lead all aspects of park operations, balancing guest satisfaction, commercial performance, team development and asset presentation.

This is a hands-on, visible role with a three-bedroom residence provided onsite. You will drive performance, mentor staff and maintain guest experiences in a picturesque Clare Valley setting near Riesling Trail.

Qualifications

• Experience leading hospitality or tourism operations.
• Hands-on leader with strong team-building skills.
• Customer-focused mindset with guest experience in mind.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day park operations, including after-hours coverage.
• Drive financial performance through budgeting, forecasting and cost control.
• Recruit, develop and mentor a high-performing team.
• Maintain presentation standards across accommodation, grounds and facilities.
• Ensure health, safety and regulatory compliance across the park.
• Manage guest feedback and service recovery to deliver outstanding experiences.
• Build relationships with local tourism operators and community stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiencies and grow business performance.
• Collaborate with the wider G’day Group network to share best practice.
